Welcome to San Antonio Neighborhood Recycle. In order to get you started we would like to remind you of a few things.

San Antonio Neighborhood Recycle encourages you to recycle as local as possible. For this reason we have different forums for sections of San Antonio and for other areas near San Antonio. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our guidelines found at http://www.sarecycle.org/index.php?showtopic=4

We are an environmental site, so we would like you to consider giving and receiving items as near to you as you can. If you are unable to find a new home for an old item please check our forum and on our main portal for places to recycle items that are beyond personal use.

We have a few tutorials to get you started on how to use our forum. You can find these at http://www.sarecycle.org/index.php?showforum=25 Here you will learn how to start a topic, reply to a public post (via reply button), reply to a private post (via pm) as well as set up your account to receive email when a new topic or post is posted in a forum that you are interested in receiving email from.

For your privacy and that of the other members, Please use the “PM” button to send a private message to a person offering or requesting an item. We want you to be comfortable in recycling items here so we feel it is better to keep this private.

Please do not give out your telephone number or address in public on this board. Please only give this to a member who you feel comfortable with and are exchanging an item with. Do this by pm or by email so that the entire board does not get your personal information.

We are looking for your input on how to improve this site. If you have any ideas or advice on how to make this more user friendly we would like to hear from you.
